White-rumped Munia, 4/2/2012

At end of March, some White-rumped Munias came to Taipei Botanical Garden to eat the wheats there. When the wheats are ripe, they mystically appeared from no where. I have a series of questions to ask. How do they know there are wheats in Taipei Botanical Garden? And how do they know when the wheats will ripen? Do they have the ability to memorize, like the human does? In that case, it means they had been to Taipei Botanical Garden last year and came back again this year. Were there wheats in Taipei Botanical Garden last year?
