Japanese Green Pigeon, 3/29/2012

When I was walking in National Taiwan University campus, I suddenly saw some mulberry tree branchlets swinging up and down. As I turned to a right angle, there it was. It's a Japanese Green Pigeon, eating the mulberry fruits. Although I've taken many pictures of Japanese Green Pigeon, I couldn't help taking it again. Japanese Green Pigeon is one of the Taiwan Endemic subspecies and is commonly seen in woodlands. They like to eat the fruits of Red Fruit Fig Trees and mulberry trees. When they come, other small birds would be scared off the tree.
